In a fig. Collar C slides on a horizontal rod. In the position shown rod AB is horizontal & has angular velocity of 0.6 rad/sec clockwise. Determine angular velocity of BC & velocity of collar C.

$VB = WAB * 0.14 \\ = 0.084 m/s $

Now, considering rod BC

$WBC = VB / 0.24 = 0.35 rad/s \\ Also, VC = WBC * 0.18 = 0.063 m/s \\ = 63 mm/s $

Angular velocity of BC is 0.35 rad/s & velocity is 63 mm/s of C
