1) Truth table:

We have to use 8:1 MUX so we need to modify the above truth table as we have only 3 select lines for 8:1 MUX. Therefore to these three select lines the inputs A, B and C will be connected resp.

Now for the remaining 4th variable we need to observe the relationship between F and D for each group of 2 rows. There are 4 possible values for F as 0, 1, D and $\underline{D}$. It is converted as below:
