Assume 10 cu m of brickwork
1 cu m = 500 no of brick
10 cu m = 5000 no of brick
X volume of one brick $= 20 {\times} 10 {\times} 10 (mm) \\ \; = 2 {\times} 10^{-3} cu m$
Total volume bricks $= 5000 ×2{\times}10^{-3}=10 \ cu \ m$
Volume of one brick $= 0.19×0.09×0.09=1.539{\times}10^{-3}=7.695 \ cu \ m$
Dry Volume of mortar $= 10-7.695 = 2.305 \ cu \ m$
Wet volume $= 1.3 {\times} 2.305 = 2.996 \ cu \ m$
Wastage $= 1.2 {\times} 2.996 = 3.596 \ cu \ m$
Cement $= \frac{3.596}{1+6}=0.514$
No of cement bags $= \frac{0.514}{0.035}=14.67 ≈15 bags$
Sand $= 0.514 {\times} 6 =3.084 \ cu \ m$
Final Cost = 5461.9/cu m
