RCC work in column of M20 grade
With 1% steel
Consider first 10 cu m
For M20 grade ratio = 1:1.5:3
Wet volume $= 30 \% \ \ extra \\ \; =1.3 {\times} 10 \\ \; = 13 cu m$
Wastage $= 20% \ \ extra \\ \; = 1.2 x 13 =15.6 (m^3)$
Cement $=\frac{15.6}{\sum{proportion}}=\frac{15.6}{1+1.5+3}=2.83(m^3)$
No of cement bags $= \frac{2.83}{0.035}=81.03 ≈82 bags$
Sand $= 2.83 {\times} 1.5 = 4.24 cu m$
Stone chips $= 2.83{\times} 3 = 8.49 cu m$
Steel $@ 1 \% =10 {\times} 0.01 = 0.1 \ \ cu \ m \ \ @ \ \ 78 \ \ Sq \ \ (cu m) \\ \; =7.85 Qt$
Binding wire $@ 1kg/ qt 7.85 kg$
Final cost/ cu m = Rs. 111998
Internal plaster in CM (1:4)
Assume 12mm thk internal plaster Assume 100 sq m of plaster area
Dry Volume = 100 x 0.012 = 1.2 cu m
Wet volume $= 30 \% \ \ extra \\ \; =1.3 {\times} 1.2 \\ =1.56 \ \ cu \ m$
Wastage $= 20 \% \ \ extra \\ \; = 1.2 x 1.56 \\ \; =1.872 \ \ cu \ m$
Cement $= \frac{1.872}{\sum{proportion}}= \frac{1.872}{1+4}=0.374 \ \ cu \ m$
No of bags $= \frac{0.374}{0.035}=10.69 ≈11 \ bags$
Sand $= 0.374 {\times} 4 = 1.496 \ \ cu \ m$
Final Cost/ cu m = 2486.8 / cu m
