FPGA	CPLD
Contains upto 100,000 of tiny logic blocks.	Contains only a few blocks of logic that reaches up to a few thousands.
They are considered as fine grain.	They are considered as coarse-grain.
More complex applications.	Are better for simple applications.
RAM based digital logic chip.	EEPROM based.
Expensive.	Cheaper.
