Given:

$Weight\ of\ Cylinder\ (W)= 300N, AE\ = 750 \ mm= 0.75 m$

$AC\ = 500 \ mm= 0.5\ m$

$Diameter= 200\ mm =0.2\ m,\ radius = DC\ =DB\ = 0.1\ m$

 

$In\ Triangle\ ACD\ ; AD = \sqrt {{(AC)}^2 + {(DC)}^2}$

$\tan\ \alpha= \dfrac {DC} {AC} = \dfrac {0.1} {0.5} = 0.2$

$\alpha= \tan ^{-1} (0.2) = 11.31\ ^\circ; Hence\ 2 \alpha= 22.62\ ^\circ$
