Where,

L = Total Inductance of the circuit,

C = Total Capacitance of the circuit,

R = Total Resistance of the circuit.

In parallel resonance, XL= XC

(ωL=\dfrac {1}ωC\[2ex] 2πf_r L=\dfrac{1}{(2πf_r C)}\[2ex] ∴f_r=\dfrac{1}{2π√LC} )

This is the required equation for resonant frequency in parallel RLC circuits.
