The magnetic field strength of cooper is 1016 ampere / metre. And magnetic susceptibility is -0.8 x 10-3. Calculate magnetic flux density ad magnetisation in cooper.

χ=0.8×103

To find – I,B

Solution –

We know that,

χ=IH I=χ×H I=0.8×103×106 I=800 Also, B=μo(H+I) =4π×107(106800) =1.255Wb/m2 ∴ Magnetisation in copper =1.255Wb/m2.
