  • When RAM, C = 2, by phase rule P = 4, F = 3

     

 

  • There are 3 varients temperature, pressure and composition and we get 3D diagram.
  • If we keep one of the factor constant then,

 

  • By keeping 1 variable factor constant a phase diagram can be 2D.

  • It is called as reduced or condensed phase rule.
