The two sets of observation are given below:
set-1 set-2
$\bar{x}=82.5$ $\bar{x}=48.75$

Solution:

$Coefficient of variance V=\frac{\sigma}{\overline{x}} \times 100$

For set-I

$V_{1}=\frac{7.3}{82.5} \times 100$

$\therefore V_{1}=8.848$

For set-II

$V_{2}=\frac{8.35}{48.75} \times 100$

$\therefore V_{2}=17.128$

$\therefore V_{1} \lt V_{2}$

$\therefore Set-I is more consistent$
