Large Signal Fading Models
1 Answer
written 5.3 years ago by |
Large signal fading models are derivable or empirical models which specify formulae to predict path loss and average signal strength measured at the receiver. These are used when the transmitter-receiver distance is fairly large and both are more or less stationary.
The simplest of all models is the FRISS free space propagation model which is used extensively in satellite communication and all other Line of sight communication systems.
