Find the flat belt dimension, centre distance and length of the belt for the following specification, power=25kW, input speed = 1440rpm, output speed=720rpm. Assume slip of 2% and suitable belt material. Determine life of the belt. Also design the pulley.

Given Data

Power = 25 kW

Speed of the small Pulley ($n_1$) = 1440rpm

Speed of the Larger Pulley ($n_2$) = 720rpm
