The most popular use of an op-amp is as a summing amplifier.

Above shown diagram, in which o/p being the sum of the three inputs, each multiplied by a different gain.

The output voltage is,

$v_o = - [ \frac{Rf}{R_1} V_1 + \frac{Rf}{R_2} V_2 + \frac{Rf}{R_3} V_3]$
