  • $I_{DS}=\frac{W}{L} (\frac{µCox}{2})(V_{GS}-V_{TO})^2(1+λV_{DS})$

    Put $k_n΄=\frac{µCox}{2}$

    Therefore equation becomes

  • $I_{DS}=\frac{W}{L} k_n΄*(V_{GS}-V_{TO})2(1+λV_{DS})$

    1.$For λ=0$

    $I_{DS}=\frac{10}{5}* 100×10^{-3}*1$

    $=200mA$

    $\boxed {I_{DS}=0.2A}$

    2. For $λ=0.25$

    $I_{DS}=\frac{10}{5}* 100×10-3(1+(0.25×5))$

    $=200×10-3×2.25$

    $\boxed{I_{DS} =0.45A}$
