Now a days, it is very challenging to travel in transport (public) buses in our convenient time. Because of more crowd, unavailability of seats in the extended date and time, the amount of time required to book the ticket on the queue, therefore, user/traveller is expecting to design on interface to satisfy the above mentioned issues.

In order to implement such kind of interface, on board self service ticketing system to resolves the mentioned problems. This kind of interface system has implemented successfully in some countries in the world (Tallinn city, Astoria, east Europe) Here, on board self service systems follow the criteria of seamless and fast usage.

Fig (1) shows the suitable analysis for user to implement the system. This figure shows the overview of customer set demands for on board self service ticketing system.

Following are the some of the major benefits from the system owner's side. They are durability, usability, simplicity, efficiency, security and accessibility. The requirements for the on board self service mass transit ticketing system are divided into sub categories, first the elements necessary for physical/user interface.

Sales of ticket : The logic of sale starts with the person checking in via the validator upon entering the vehicle. This sets the starting zone or stop for the ticket. When the user reaches his or her desired destination then upon leaving the vehicle the user checks out of the vehicle.

The sold ticket has a time duration as well, depending on the start and end stop of the ticket.

By default the type of ticket sold to the carrier is a regular ticket. If the user wishes to purchase discount tickets, he/she needs a special type of ticket carrier. The purpose of this system is to give effective system for state road transport system (on board ticketing system with user interface and service design).
