Advantages of Shahabad Stones:

i. It is very economical in places where such stone is locally available.

ii. It is hard, durable and wear resistant.

iii. It is easy in construction, repair and maintenance.

iv. It is an ecofriendly material.

v. It is very strong and impervious.

Disadvantage of Shahabad Stones:

i. It is not fine, smooth and attractive type flooring and therefore can not be used for important public building.

ii. It is not found comfortable for living purpose because it has got bad conductivity and poor shock absorbing properties.
