Determine standard Deviation & Variance of the Project. Also determine the Probability of completing the project at :-
i) Expected duration ii) 3 weeks earlier than expected duraiton

1) Expected duration is 17 days.

2) 3 weeks earlier than E D

Variance = $\sqrt{6^2} = 2$

Z = $\frac{S.T – E D}{Variance}$

Z = $\frac{14-17}{3}$

= - 1

Z = 15.87

So the probability of completing the project three weeks earlier than E D is 15.87 %

3) 3 weeks later than E. D

Z = $\frac{S.T – E.D}{6}$

Z = $\frac{20-17}{3}$

= 1

Z = 84.13

So the probability of completing the project 3 weeks earlier than E D is 84.13
