FH-CDMA	DS-CDMA
FH-SS system is an FM or FSK technique.	DS-SS is an AM or PSK technique.
It is more favoured for military applications.	It is more favoured for commercial applications
Not useful for range and range rate measurement	Useful
Faster synchronization required	Slower synchronization required.
No severe near far interference problems, thus no precise transmit power control is required.	Interference problems.
PN generator clock rate is considerable slower than DS	PN generator clock rate is fast.
Complex	Comparatively simple
