a. Slab Formwork essentially consists of a horizontal load-bearing structure which supports the formlining and transfers the forces into the shoring.

b. Here, large planks, plywood, or steel plates are used to make the platform for slab.

c. The platform is supported on a number of timber poles or steel trestles which can be easily lowered for purpose of levelling.
