A magnetron is a very high frequency diode which is used for production of high power
oscillatory waveform.
A gap is maintained between the cathode and anode .
Output can be taken from any one of the cavity because of magnet present in any one of the tube.
When an electron is emitted by a cathode and if no magnetic field is present ,then electron will straight away strike the anode .
When a small magnetic field is applied across the elctron ,it will be extended by an external force and tress to move into anti clock wise direction.
The elctron is striking the anode and bending into the cavity towards the left.when magnetic field
strength is strong ,the electon will not cross the barrier and it will bend back and strike the
cathode .
If magnetic field is strong then electron will try to reflect back from very short distance inside cavity.
