A cassette is inserted into the camcorder. The lens cap is removed. The button marked OPEN is pressed to reveal the LCD panel. The POWER button is switched down to light up the CAMERA-TAPE lamp. The REC START/STOP button is pressed. The recording is started. The same button is pressed to stop recording.

Following are the instructions for recording videos on a handycam:

1) Insert a cassette into the camcorder.

2) Remove the lens cap.

3) Press the button marked “OPEN” to reveal the LCD panel.

4) Switch down the “POWER” button to light up the camera-tape lamp.

5) Press the REC START/STOP button to start the recording.

6) Press the same button to stop the recording.
