Region 1: Er_1=9 ,μr_1=1 ,σ_1=0

Region 2: Er_1=1 ,μr_1=1 ,σ_2=0

The intrinsic impedance is:

η_1= √(μ_1/E_1 )=√((μ_o μr_1)/(E_o Er_1 ))=1/3 √(μ_o/E_0 )=125.61 Ω

η_(2 )=√(μ_o/E_0 )=376.99 Ω

The transmission coefficient is

ΓT=(2η_(2 ))/(η_1+η_(2 ) )=(2 ×376.99)/(125.61+376.99)=1.5

Reflection coefficient:

ΓR=(η_1- η_(2 ))/(η_1+η_(2 ) )=0.5
