Stakeholders are the people, roles and teams associated with the software. The stakeholders are:

  • Architects: They are the critical stakeholders as they maintain the conceptual integrity of the system. They come up with the systems architecture, model it, build prototypes and finally evolve it.
  • Developers: A group of people concerned with the development process of the software.
  • Managers: They manage the resources of large projects and make sure that a project is completed within a certain set of restrains like time, money, workforce and materials. They also ensure the quality level.
  • Testers: They ensure that a bug-free product is delivered.
  • Customers: The stakeholders who expect a quality product to be delivered as per their requirement.
  • Users: The people who actually use the software.
