Cloud architecture provide large pool of

dynamic resources that can be accessed any time whenever there is a requirement, which is not being given by the traditional architecture.

In traditional architecture it is not possible to dynamically associate a machine with the rising demand of infrastructure and the services.

Cloud architecture provides scalable properties to meet the high demand of infrastructure and provide on-demand access to the user.

Cloud vs. enterprise product:

This can be understood by example in case you want to purchase a Flat you will opt for reputed society vs your own apartment.

In case you opt for former you do not need to take care of security, operation/maintenance (upgrade/patch/New Feature/Archive/Purge/Back Up etc.), deployment as in later you need to decide while product selection/deployment regarding infrastructure, security and maintenance.

Apart that one huge benefit due to which it is getting popular pay per use. In above example as if one want to live in society you have liberty which society , what is your need IaaS/PaaS/SaaS requirement and you can use option for

defined time frame or extend can opt for better/higher needs (Pay per use/Can Scale Up/Down) as per agreement.

Technical insight for architecture and difference is a bit complex and depend on how different product have implemented.

• The characteristics that makes cloud architecture above traditional architecture is:

According to the demand cloud architecture provides the hardware requirement

• Cloud architecture is capable of scaling the resource on demand

• Cloud architecture is capable of managing and handling dynamic workloads without failure.
