1)Embankment:-
e=$\frac{n}{1-n}$=$\frac{0.3}{1-0.3}$=0.428
s=$\frac{w.G}{e}$ = $\frac{0.15 \times 2.68}{0.428}$
s= 93.9%
$\gamma=\frac{(G+s.e)}{(1+e)}\gamma w$
$[\frac{2.68 + 0.939 + 0.4278}{1+0.428}]\times 9.81$
=21.17 $kN/m^{3}$
$a_{c}=n(1-s)$
=0.3[1-0.939]
$a_{c}$=0.0183
wt of soil=$\gamma \times 2000m^{3}$
w=$17 \times 2000 kN$
Volume of compacted embankment
v=$\frac{w}{v}$ $\frac{17 \times 2000}{21.17} =1606m^{3}$
Volume of compacted embankment is $1606m^{3}$
