Noise pollution : Noise define as any undesirable human or machine created noise which disturb the activity or balance of human or animal life. It’s expressed in decibel (dB).

Control measures :

• Control at receiver end: for people working in noisy area protection aids like earplug, muff, noise helmet, headphone etc should be provided it reduced the occupational exposure. • Controlling at source: this is only possible if working method improved, use new machine replace noisy ones. Proper lubricant and maintenances of machines, installing noising machine with sound absorbing material • Zoning: increased distance between source & receiver, by zoning of noisy industrial area or bus stand and railway station away from silence zone near residential or education area. • Legislative measures: minimum use of loud speaker near silence zone. Banning pressure horn in automobiles. Framing a separate noise pollution acts.
