  • Space for accumulation is required to provide a sufficient space, at the bottom of the chamber, for collection of grit.
  • The velocity of the grit chamber is kept between 200mm and 300mm/per second.
  • The flow should have enough velocity to carry out the grit from the chamber.
  • It should never fall below 200mm/per second.
