2. It uses Time Code Technology.
3. It further divided into 2 standards TDD and TD-SCDMA.

- IMT-SC:

1. IMT-SC is also known as UWC-136 or EDGE.
2. It uses Single Carrier Technology.
3. It is enhancement of US TDMA System.

- IMT-FT:

1. IMT-FT is also known as DECT.
2. It uses Frequency Time Technology.
3. It is enhancement version of the digital cordless telephone standard or DECT.
