ANS :Breaking distance : When distance travelled by the vehicle after application of the brakes to a dead stop position then it is called as the Breaking distance.(l) l= v 2/ 2gf Here l= braking distance, m v= speed of vehicle, m/ sec f= design coefficient of friction
