Airport marking:

Runway marking are white to enable it to be conspicuous from black or grey pavement for operators to recognize it clearer.

  • The pavements are marked with lines and numbers for pilots in guiding the aircrafts on the taxiways and runways.
  • This marking helps the pilot to recognize the various airport component or elements during daylight and dusk.
  • During night, the lights or signals are used to guide he pilots in loading and maneuvering in the airport
  • Wind direction indicators are also installed at every airport.
  • Runways are marked with white color and aprons and taxiways are marked with yellow color.
