To find:- N

Solution:-

The Resolving power is given by

λdλ=mN

dλ=|λ1λ2|=|58965890|=6Ao

λ2<λ1 R.P for λ1 will be less than λ2

Hence, we calculate N for λ1 as the same will resolve for λ2

λ1dλ=mN

N=58906
