  • Body language is non-verbal method of communication.

  • It is also known as “kinesics”.

  • Person’s body language communicates more effectively than words. Our body positions are clues about our inner moods and feelings.

  • Some kinds of body languages are as follows:

  • Adam’s apple jump:

    A conscious up and down of the Adam’s apple indicates emotional anxiety, embarrassment or stress.

  • Bow:

    To bend, curl or curve the upper body and head downward is used greet and to show courtesy.

  • Shoulder shrug:

    To lift, raise or flex forward one or both the shoulders is sign of resignation, uncertainty, submissiveness.

  • Throat clear:

    It communicates anxiety and doubt.

  • Some other kinds of body languages are postures, gestures, facial expressions and eye contacts. Each of these play very crucial role in communicating with body language.
