$ = -0.8 ×10^{-3}$

To find: M & H = ?

Soln:

Magnetic field strength = H

Magnetic susceptibility = φ

Magnetic flux density = B

Magnetisation = M

φ = M/H

$M = φ × H = - 0.8 × 10^3$

$ B = µ_0 (M + H)$

$ = 4π ×10^{-7}(-0.8 × 10^3 + 10^6)$

$ B = 1.255 Wb/m^2$
