Given:

T = 300k

$E_g = 5.6ev$

To find: F(E)= ?

Soln: $F(E) = \frac{1}{1 + exp^{\frac{E_R}{2KT}}}$

$ = \frac{1}{1 + exp^{\frac{5.6 × 1.6 × 10^{-19}}{2 × 1.38 × 10^{-23} × 300}}}$

$ = \frac{1}{1 + e^{0.01 × 10^4}}$

$ = \frac{1}{1+ 5.921 × 10^{47}}$

$ = \frac{1}{5.921 × 10^{47}}$

$ = 0.1688 × 10^{-47}$
