  • We have to use 4:1 MUX only, therefore we need total 5 4:1 mux to form 16:1MUX and 16:1 MUX has only 4 select lines so we need to modify the above truth table. Therefore to these 4 select lines the inputs B, C, D and E will be connected resp.
  • Now for the remaining $5^{th}$ variable we need to observe the relationship between F and A for each group of 2 rows. There are 4 possible values for F as 0, 1, AandA. It is converted as below:
